Many of these fad diets are based on just a sliver of truth, and when taken to the extreme like they commonly are, they can cause severe and lasting damage. Sadly, many of these diets that cut back on one aspect of eating also cut back on nutrients that the body needs to look and feel healthy. These diet fads also lead to a new danger the yo-yo effect that it has on weight. I tell it all in my video series!
