All you need to cook a dinner for pennies. Cook veggies in a little water and 1/2 stock cube, add the canned tuna and serve with the cooked brown rice. Simple dinner which costs hardly anything. I like to grow my own herbs in little potts on my window sill during the colder months, and in the summer I put them outside. They add a lot of flavour to your meals, and are very healthy! Cheap too, because they keep growing year round. jeanwangg on August 17, 2010 at 5:07 pm bananas for breakfast or whole grain bread is good for breakfast. spinach is very healthy! i love to eat that in my salad all the time! ^_^ DiscountTrendsetter on August 17, 2010 at 5:55 pm Thank you so much for supporting The Discount Trendsetter Show. givej2 on August 17, 2010 at 6:39 pm I love this channel! shaynab on August 17, 2010 at 6:57 pm TACOS: very healthy, low in fat & high in protien AND CHEAP! Although rather used a jar pasta sauce, you would save more money using a canned tomatoes, add water, reduce it, and then add the frozen vegetables and seasonings. Thanks for sharing. Blessings. GoneBazaar on August 17, 2010 at 8:34 pm I make a fruit salad that is cheap. I take 3 bananas, 1 peach and a hand full of strawberries. I cut them up into bite size pieces and stir them together in a big bowl. The juices from the 3 fruits mix and make a nice sauce in the salad and now you are ready to eat!! phiphi479 on August 17, 2010 at 9:14 pm i have a question: how often do you add a new video? epsomf on August 17, 2010 at 9:29 pm Great Ideas!
